As has been mentioned on this blog several times before, Alain RPP's distro used to be one of the best places to pick up great demo's. I also picked up this demo by Incision from Massachussetts from his distro at a random show in the late 90's. Incision played excellent heavy and tough hardcore like so many Mass hardcore bands from that time. I've already blogged about several such bands like
With One Intent and
Punch The Klown, so why stop? This 'East Coast Hardcore' demo was recorded and released in 1997 and I think it might be their only demo/release? Some of the lyrics of the songs on this demo were written by Dennis Lydon, I'm thinking this might be Dennis from Brawl Park, another mid 90's Mass hardcore band, does anybody know? Maybe he was Incision's singer before Bryan Harris became their singer? Also, if the name Bryan Harris sounds familiar in regards to Mass hardcore, you're not mistaken. After Incision quit, Bryan Harris and Incision's drummer Dan Loftus started a new band called Death Before Dishonor, you might have heard of them... Anyways, this demo is awesome enough as-is, so give it a chance. Enjoy!

I have no idea if there's any connection with Brawl Park, but I got BP's Step To This album in mp3 version a few years back, and it's really good.
It dates back from 94, and pulls off some rap-influenced hardcore similar to Krutch or E-Town Concrete, and it's well done. I know the singer used to be in the graffiti scene as well. Still haven't put my hands on a physical copy of the cd though.
I'm downloading that Incision Demo right now, gonna check that out.
Speaking about RPP (Europe's best 90's label with Inner Rage), do you reckon you could upload Out For Blood - Strive To Survive disc ?

Didn't they have a cd out on 400 + records called Memories?
was hoping this was the incision from canada i believe in the early 90's ive been tryin to track down songs by them since i heard them on a nj radio show in 92/93
