Atlas Shrugged - 1992 demo

After posting an Atlas Shrugged 7" on xStuck In The Pastx, I figured it was time to post their 1992 demo as well. So here it is, showcasing Atlas Shrugged in its earliest form. It's an awesome & raw sounding demo, and definitely already shows the genius this band would portray in their future music. The band would re-record all of these songs for their first proper release, the 'The Last Season' LP, which was released in 1993 on singer Chris Weinblad's own label, Trip Machine Laboratories. Hopefully there will be an Atlas Shrugged discography on Trip Machine Laboratories sooner rather than later.

Thanks a lot dude, I can't wait for the discography to come out !

I discovered this band because their were always thanked in the booklet of bands like Bulldoze or One 4 One and I thought it would be 90's east coast hardcore the way I like it.

Well it was not, but they make such great music, it's awesome ! Like a NYHC version of the Pink Floyds haha.

amazing band is right..im a youngn but these guys were friends of friends and i had the pleasure of seeing them play a couple times in the late 90s..and the reunion shows they played have all been incredible.
the last one was about 2 years ago at the knitting factory. they sound absolutely no different now, almost 20 years later.

also check out : malik ali solo effort (guitar player from AS solo acoustic)

ghidrah : atlas shrugged's brother band. equally amazing.
